Community Wood Recycling
Community Wood Recycling is a nationwide network of 30 social enterprises, founded in Brighton in 1998. We help the planet by saving wood for reuse and reducing carbon emissions, and support people experiencing issues such as long-term unemployment, homelessness, alcohol or substance misuse, social exclusion or disability by creating jobs, training and volunteering opportunities.
Why do you support the Living Wage?
Creating positive environmental and social change is central to our organisation. Paying our employees the real living wage has clear and long lasting benefits for us as an employer, but more importantly we see it as a moral obligation and a vital part of realising our overall objectives.
